Hunt Club 4/6

The Haters will be at the Hunt Club on Friday 4/6. We have been training relentlessly for this particular evening, as it the last live performance on our books for a while. While on hiatus, we will have the opportunity to spend more time focusing on our respective hobbies (see below).

Our good friends in the Philip Zoellner Band have invited us to party with them at Fassler Hall on Friday, Feb 24th. It actually works out pretty well, because I was planning on being at that show anyways. You know, sort of a divine intervention, serendipitous happening, twist of fate type of a thing.

We’ve been getting a lot of inquiries as to when we will be playing again. As many of you know, we are currently on a hiatus while we are in the process of cooking up a yummy new batch of music. However, we will have some new live dates posted in the fall. We will be playing new material upon our return. See you soon!

Music Video
Aug 17th
A while back, KC and I got on fiverr and hired took a couple of bids to have someone produce a video for “High & Falling”. We hired this dude. It was amazing that he was able to hire so many actors, secure multiple shooting locations, and such professional equipment on a budget of only five dollars. Either that, or he just got on Windows Movie Maker and played the song over another artist’s video.
Let the Recording Begin!
Jul 19th
I am just about to head to Hosterman’s studio to scratch the surface of what will be our sophmore recording effort. (I guess that’s why they’re called ‘scratch’ tracks) The project will be another 5-6 song EP and is slated to be released in October. My focus is to create a more sonically consistent work than the “The Everybody’s Busy” disc. Of course, with only half of the material written at this point, it’s hard to say how things will develop. Regardless, I am excited to see what this season will bring. -Dave
June 16 – Hunt Club
May 17th
Come to the Hunt Club on Thursday, June 16th. The Mid-America Shelby Ford Meet will also be that evening. Guess what else! Josh Honel will be sitting in on trumpet and there just might be a magician performing during our set. Pretty awesome.
